The Talk of the Town Podcast features multiple episodes with a variety of voices from across the community — including business owners, land developers, architects, construction professionals, and other subject matter experts. Each episode dives into conversations about the projects shaping Sherwood’s future and the positive impact they could have on the community’s growth and quality of life.

June 23, 2025 - Presentation of the Bond projects and Council unanimously approves of ballot initiative.

Panelists from Baldwin & Shell Construction, Cromwell Architects, Stephens Inc., and Mayor Mary Jo Heye-Townsell were on hand to answer questions and provide insight into the projects included in the bond. The panel also featured the City’s Director of Parks and Recreation and the Support Services Commander.

The Mayor met the community where they already were, volleyball and football games, recognizing that families have busy schedules. By showing up at events they were already attending, she was able to connect without adding anything extra to their plates.
Mayor attended Coffee with a Cop on Wednesday, September 24th and answered questions about the bond initiative.

The Mayor answered questions about the bond initiative during the final Third Thursdays in the Park free concert on September 27th and again at Night to Unite on October 16th.
